✨ It’s been a little quiet around here… but for a good reason. ✨

I’ve been spending my time behind the scenes with yarn in hand, designing, testing, and creating lots of new goodies for upcoming markets. Between crocheting, planning, and getting everything ready, social media has taken a bit of a back seat.

I promise I’ve been busy—not gone! 💛

I’m so excited to start sharing what I’ve been working on over the next few weeks. There are brand-new designs, some returning favorites, and plenty of weird, whimsical, and cozy creations on the way.

Thank you for sticking around while I disappear into my little crochet cave. I can’t wait to show you what’s been keeping me so busy!

These one-of-a-kind trinket dishes are made using reclaimed oyster shells and an assortment of recycled and repurposed items, giving forgotten little treasures a whimsical new life.

Each dish is completely different, with its own colors, charms, beads, and personality. They’re perfect for holding rings, crystals, tiny keepsakes, or any other little treasures you want to keep safe.

They also make lovely little fairy baths and bee resting stations!

💧🌿 Tiny Act. Big Kindness. 🌿💧

The summer heat is hard on all of us, especially our wild neighbors. One of the easiest ways to help is to leave a shallow dish of fresh water outside.

You might make a thirsty friend’s day! 🩵

Visitors could include:
🦝 Opossums stopping by after a nighttime snack
🐿️ Squirrels taking a quick drink between acorn hunts
🐦 Songbirds cooling off after singing their little hearts out
🦋 Butterflies sipping from the edge
🐝 Bees grabbing a much-needed drink
🐸 Frogs looking for a cool place to rest
🦎 Lizards escaping the afternoon sun
🦔 (If they’re native where you live) other small wildlife passing through

A few tips:
✨ Use a shallow dish or plant saucer.
✨ Add a few pebbles or sticks so insects have a safe place to land.
✨ Change the water daily to keep it fresh and help reduce mosquito breeding.
✨ Place it in a shady spot if you can.

Sometimes helping wildlife doesn’t require anything fancy. Just a little clean water can mean the world on a hot day.

Your backyard might just become the neighborhood’s favorite hydration station. 💚🐾

I just wanted to thank everyone that came to our opossum party this weekend! Here at the hive we are passionate about wildlife rehabilitation and the turnout has warmed our little hearts!
