సమాజంలో జరుగుతున్న అసమానతల మీదా, అరాచకాల మీదా, అన్యాయాల మీదా ఎప్పటికప్పుడు, సామాజిక, సాంఘిక, రాజకీయ వ్యవస్థను ప్రశ్నించే వ్యక్తులు, వ్యవస్థలు ఉంటూనే ఉన్నాయి, ఉంటాయి, ఉండాలి కూడా. మనకెందుకులే అని పక్కకు తప్పుకోకుండా, ఎదిరించి ప్రశ్నించే వారు తక్కువ మందే కానీ వారి వెనుక ఎందరో.

ఒకప్పుడు వినోదాన్ని పంచే మాధ్యమాలు సామాజిక స్పృహని కలిగించేవి గా కూడా ఉండడం ఎన్నో సంఘ సంస్కరణలకు ఒక రకంగా కారణం అవ్వడం మన అందరికీ తెలిసిందే. అవి దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకుంటే అప్పటి సంఘ సంస్కర్తలు వారి ప్రయత్నాలు అన్నిటి మీద గౌరవం ఉండాలి అని ఎవరూ చెప్పవలసిన అవసరం లేదు.

ఒక విషయాన్ని ప్రశ్నించే ముందు దాని గురించిన పూర్తి వివరాలు తెలుసుకోవడం, దాన్ని అర్థం చేసుకోవడం చాలా చాలా అవసరం. ప్రశ్నించడం నా జన్మ హక్కు అని మాత్రమే అనుకుంటే ఆ ప్రశ్నకు విలువ దాని వల్ల వచ్చే పరిణామాలకు ఉపయోగం రెండూ ఉండకపోగా , కొన్ని దురదృష్టకర పరిస్థితుల్లో పడే ప్రమాదం ఎక్కువ.

నాటక కర్త, మహాకవి బిరుదు పొందిన, సంఘ సంస్కర్త కీ. శే. శ్రీ కాళ్ళకూరి నారాయణరావు గారి 100 యేళ్ల నాటకం "చింతామణి" అప్పటి సామాజిక పరిస్థితులకు అద్దం పట్టే నాటకం అయి కొన్ని వందల వేల ప్రదర్శనలు వేయబడిన నాటకం. అటువంటి నాటకం ఇలాంటి దుష్పరిణామానికి గురికావడం చాలా బాధాకరం.

తెలుగు నాటకాన్ని ప్రేమించే వారే కాదు, తెలుగు సాహిత్యాన్ని అభిమానించే వారు, గౌరవించే వారు కూడా Sai Madhav గారి అభ్యర్థనని బలపరుస్తు ...please share this post.
