Happy new year 🎆

The new year will bring new things for Metal Muse!

We are saying goodbye to the studio space at 188 Lincoln as our home base. We will be moving into the Red Hot & Ladylike dance complex in Portland. ( more on that later 😎) For now, I will be starting pop up events in Lewiston, and working back to having regular classes in the future.

This past year has been a whirlwind for me, and having another baby this summer has been quite an adjustment, I need time to adjust to this new chapter. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through this adventure of starting Metal Muse, I can’t wait to continue growing, and creating unique opportunities for pole in the future.

Some of my favorite things we got to do this year include;

-A outdoor photoshoot with 📷

-Be a judge for Maine Aerial Arts 👩‍⚖️

-Have our pole be used by Rocky for Equality in the rocky horror Christmas show 🎭

**Halloween pop up class**

Friday October 24th 645-8pm

Calling all witches, warlocks and creatures of the night… join us for a spooky night of pole dancing in this Halloween themed pop-up class! Students will learn a section of choreography to one of our favorite witchy tunes. Students are encouraged to dress in their favorite witchy pole set, just make sure whatever you wear feels good to move in and allows for inner thigh grip so we can stay on our broom stick! Open to all levels - recommended that students have taken a few beginner pole classes before signing up (strong sit and basic spins required)

**Pole Photoshoot**

We are bringing the pole to Ricker Hill Orchard for a golden hour photoshoot! Participants will take photos on the stage pole with the beautiful view, and foliage in the background. Each participant will get their own 10 min mini shoot with Pretty Little Portraits with guidance from our instructors No experience required!

**New Class**

Intro to Spin Flow

• Students will learn combos that smoothly transition on spin pole. This class will focus less on intricate combo building and more on teaching students how to safely and gracefully execute skills on spin pole. Students will also learn dance elements to transition into and out of spin passes. Best suited for students in Beginner and Intermediate 1
o Prerequisites (can be on static):
▪ Strong sit, basic spins
