SPRING 2026 ACTING OUT CLASS - SIGN UP TODAY!!
About the Class: Spring Acting Out Classes is a five week course taught by Megan Chavez Anderson, for students ages 7-17. Students will learn the basics of acting and scene work in a safe and welcoming environment. Class goals will be development of acting skills, character development, confidence building and students will be learning a monologue. There will be a final scene performance for family and friends on the final day of class.
About the Teacher: Megan has been an educator for the past 20 years. She holds an M. Ed from Loyola College of Maryland and a B.F.A in theater at the University of Idaho. Megan has worked professionally in theaters in Portland, Oregon, Moscow, Idaho and Chicago. She has worked in every aspect of theater, from lead roles, secret roles, and voice acting, to painting sets, being on crew, house managing and even painting humans with fake sunburns. She writes and directs shows for her school, Children’s House Montessori School in Lewiston and has been teaching acting skills to students at CHMS for the past 15 years. She is excited to be a part of the LCT’s long standing tradition of inspiring and coaching the next generation.
Younger Kids Session (7-12) (Level 1)
When: Feb. 24, 2026, 5:30 - 6:30 PM, Tuesdays
Older Kids Session (13-17) (Level 1)
When: Feb. 24, 2026, 6:45 - 8:00 PM, Tuesdays
Final Week will have two classes, final rehearsal on March 24 and class showcase will be March 25. Class Showcase Performance will be at the Normal Hill Campus (Old LHS Auditorium) 1114 9th Ave, Lewiston
Where: LCT Box Office - 832 Main St, Lewiston
Cost: $150 per student (Class is limited to 20 students) *We must have a minimum of 5 students for class to go forward.

Stay tuned for more information for our Acting Out Spring Level 2 class in April. The Level 2 class is geared towards audition preparations for our 2026 Summer Acting Out Youth Camp. Your child must complete the Level 1 class to attend the Level 2 Audition prep class.
