Urgent need for a Director of Fundraising!
The Lewis-Clark Amateur Hockey Association is facing a critical need that directly impacts the future of our organization and our ability to continue providing hockey opportunities for our players and families.
We are urgently seeking volunteers interested in serving as our Director of Fundraising, a voting member of the LCAHA Board of Directors. This position is not only essential to the operation of our association—it may be one of the most important leadership roles within LCAHA.
As a 100% volunteer-run organization, LCAHA relies heavily on fundraising revenue to offset the significant costs associated with operating our programs and the Lewis-Clark Ice Arena. Without strong fundraising efforts, the association will struggle to meet its financial obligations and maintain affordable hockey opportunities for our members.
Director of Fundraising Responsibilities
Chair the LCAHA Fundraising Committee.
Organize, coordinate, and oversee all fundraising activities for the association.
Recruit and lead volunteers to assist with fundraising efforts.
Develop new fundraising opportunities and build upon successful existing programs.
Present fundraising proposals to the Board of Directors for approval prior to implementation.
Help ensure the long-term financial sustainability of LCAHA.
The Fundraising Committee has the authority to organize and conduct fundraising activities for the sole purpose of offsetting the costs of operating LCAHA. However, the success of these efforts depends entirely on having dedicated leadership and volunteers willing to help.
We want to be transparent with our membership: if this position remains vacant, LCAHA will likely be unable to meet its future financial commitments. The consequences could threaten the viability of our programs and, ultimately, the future of the association itself.
This is not a role that one person must tackle alone. Whether you have experience in fundraising, event planning, sponsorship development, marketing, community outreach, or simply a desire to help, we need you. No offer of assistance will be turned away. Even if you are unable to commit to serving as Director, we encourage you to volunteer as a member of the Fundraising Committee.
The future of youth hockey in the Lewis-Clark Valley depends on the willingness of our community to step forward and support the organization. We are asking all members to seriously consider how they can help.
If you are interested in serving as Director of Fundraising or would like to volunteer in any capacity to support fundraising efforts, please contact the Board of Directors at your earliest convenience.
