Some of my favorite glazes are the blue ones!

I'm very happy with how this little cup came out. The rich blue color pops and the creamy color on the inside turned out great.

When you look close you can see the different pockets of glaze. Light, dark blue and golden browns are a perfect combination.

....And the bowl is out! I was really excited about this one because I was working with a glaze I had never used before. I love how it makes the clay look like wood. The inside really blew me away as well. Overall, I loved the bowl. The only thing that went wrong are the pinholes in the bottom. Unfourtunatly, I put too much glaze, this created pinhole craters in the bottom. I'm really happy I did some experimenting and found a great new combination. What do you think?

For the potters: Thrown with porcelain. I used sandstone on the outside and multiple layers of cordovan and sandstone. Fired at cone 06.

There is something so precious about tiny, baby pottery. Ive been working on baby mugs and I can't wait to show them off.

Until then... Check out this baby bowl that just came from the kiln. I used the beautiful Norse Blue glaze on the inside. I can't wait to make more "mini" pottery.

When I pulled this bowl out of the kiln I was blown away. I was doing an experimental glaze and it turned out beautiful.

There is so much depth in the colors, I couldn't stop staring at it. The rich cordovan color on the inside was so glossy and even I couldn't be more happy. There is a beautiful combination of birch and cordovan on the outside that is so unique. What is so special about this piece is that every inch of this handmade bowl is unique. From how I threw the clay to the technique I applied the glaze... No two pieces are alike.

My one goal in life is to actually finish one project. But seriously.... It's pottery time! It's so relaxing to glaze and it's such a beautiful transformation post kiln firing.

Some of my goals are to work with different clays, learn about underglaze transfers, and make some "movie inspired" work.

So many good things are in the making. Beautiful pottery will be posted soon. Stay tuned! 🖌

Holy Smokes! If you need something to keep you entertained while your locked inside take a look at this!

This is by far my favorite piece I've ever created! I can't wait to drink some tea out of this.

What do you think about this beauty.... Personally, I'm in love.

I'm so excited to show off what I'm currently working on. I've never made ornaments or keychains and I wanted to try it. Slab work isn't something I'm usually into but I really enjoyed working on these. What does everyone like the best... the Idaho with "lcv strong" on it or without? There is so much I can do with these. I'm so excited for whats to come!
There is so much opportunity with clay... I can carve into these, customize, and add any phrase to them!

Who would be interested in purchasing a "lcv strong" handmade keychain?

Oh my goodness! Look what I received! I ordered this trimming tool from and I couldn't be more excited.

This is the same trim tool that some of my favorite potters use and I'm so lucky the same one is in my hands.
Thank you for this amazing trim tool to keep me entertained during this crazy time. 💕
