Marshall County Community Theatre Theatre In 1998 the MCCT expanded opportunities for performers with the addition of the Children’s Division to feature first through twelfth graders.

Chartered in 1983, the Marshall County Community Theatre performed at Marshall County High School, Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Marshall County Courthouse, Fountain Square restaurant, and other venues before settling into the Dixie Theatre.The MCCT flourished in 1994 with the purchase of the Dixie Theatre from the Boyd family. In 2002, with the generous donations of Robert Walker and Don Wright

, work began on the Walker-Wright Wing, an annex at the end of the alley, which added space for performers, props, and sets. The Children’s Community Choir was added in 2004.

The Peanuts gang is coming to life on stage in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown! Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, and the rest of the gang for a show full of big personalities, familiar frustrations, unexpected wisdom, and the kind of humor that has made these characters beloved for generations.

Rehearsals are underway, and we can’t wait to start giving you a peek behind the scenes as this cast brings the world of Charles Schulz to the stage.

The Marshall County Community Theatre is excited to announce auditions for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or thinking about stepping onto the stage for the very first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a fun, heartwarming musical that celebrates the timeless characters we’ve all grown up with.

Auditions:
📅 Saturday, August 8
🕘 9:00 AM–12:00 PM & 1:00 PM–5:00 PM
👥 Ages 17+

Be prepared to:
🎵 Sing 30 seconds to 1 minute of a musical theatre selection (bring your own accompaniment track)
📖 Read from the script
💃 Learn a short dance combination

Rehearsals begin Monday, August 10, with performances scheduled for September 26–28 and October 2–4.

What an incredible opening weekend for CLUE! 🎭

The laughter, the packed audiences, and the overwhelming support from our community made for an unforgettable start to the show. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make opening weekend such a success. Our cast and crew have poured their hearts into this production, and seeing your reactions has made every rehearsal worth it.
