🎞️ Home Movie Day is TODAY at the Campus Theatre!

Do you have old family films or VHS tapes collecting dust in the attic? Bring them to the Campus Theatre in Lewisburg today, Saturday October 17th, from 11AM–1PM for Home Movie Day — a free event dedicated to discovering and preserving personal and community history.

Our team will be on hand to:
🔍 Inspect and identify your film and video formats
🎥 Safely project short clips (when possible)
💾 Share tips on storage, preservation, and digitization
📚 Show examples of restored footage and discuss their historical and artistic value

Accepted formats include:
8mm • Super 8 • 16mm (single/double perf) • 35mm • VHS • S-VHS • VHS-C • MiniDV • Digital 8 • BetaCam • 3/4" U-Matic

This is a hands-on day of discovery, memory, and storytelling — a celebration of the footage that captures who we are and where we’ve been.

The 2nd Annual Riot in the River Film Festival is now accepting submissions.

We’re dedicated to independent, student, and emerging filmmakers with bold voices and original stories. We want films that take chances, break convention, and give audiences something to talk about.

🎬 We’re accepting:
Feature Films • Short Films • Mid-Length Films • Music Videos • Trailers

From Horror and Sci-Fi to Comedy, Drama, Documentary, Animation, LGBTQ+, Environmental, Experimental, and films that refuse to fit neatly into a box.

Bring your film to the historic Campus Theatre, a stunning 1941 Art Deco movie palace with 16-foot murals, etched glass doors, and a 340-seat auditorium.

Make something bold. Make something different. Then bring it to the River.
