A few hours before my son walked across the stage, we had a conversation I’ll never forget.

I told him I was proud. That was the easy part.

Then I said something most parents don’t say on graduation day.

“Everything up to this point doesn’t really matter anymore.”

Not the GPA.
Not the class rank.
Not the awards.

Because that part of life is over. And what comes next matters so much more.

I told him the truth that most young adults don’t realize until it’s too late.

Right now, he has the greatest asset anyone can have.

Time.

He doesn’t have a mortgage.

He’s not raising kids.

He’s not locked into a nine-to-five.

This is his window to go all in.

To lift heavy. 🏋️‍♂️
To build something from nothing.

To take risks, try businesses, chase curiosity, and figure out who he is without the weight of the world on his back.

But only if he protects his time.

Because social media will happily eat up every spare hour he has if he’s not intentional.

I reminded him this is the time to grow into the kind of man who knows his purpose.

Who builds real wealth. Who leads with strength, not status.

I’m proud of him.

But I’m even more excited about who he’s becoming.

Let’s go!!!

Baseball is a hard enough sport.

It's full of emotions, mistakes, embarrassments. This game will test you like no other sport. You can "play hard" and give as much effort as you've got and still fail.

DO NOT MAKE THE GAME HARDER THAN IT ALREADY IS FOR THEM.

I have been giving away free vegetables on a card table by the road in front of the skating rink. The table was empty this morning and before I could take the sign down someone took the table. Please bring it back. I need it to put more vegetables on.
