Looking to have a 🔥fire on the beach?
Quest is here to help make it easy.
There are specific rules that the City has in place for all to enjoy the beach and keep it clean. LEAVE NO TRACE BEHIND.
When having a bonfire on the beach, you MUST first have a PERMIT.
The fire MUST be contained.
Bring your own wood, DO NOT go into the Dunes to find wood or brush for your fire. You should NOT be using gas to light the fire and no additional fires or tiki torches are allowed per city permits.
No grilling on the beach is allowed.
No fireworks allowed and no sparklers.
WHAT YOU BRING, LEAVES WITH YOU!
NO TRACE!!!
Please keep our little beach town clean for all to use and let’s enjoy the summer!!!🔥

Welcome! A glimpse into the Lewes Community Bonfire and Volunteer Appreciation Event🔥 that was held at Johnny Walker Beach tonight.
And what a fun evening by a toasty fire, where we got to relax and talk with other members of the local community.
Lots of good people, laughs, food trucks, music 🎶 a little dancing and the local Fire Dept was there to meet the community and help us extinguish the fire at the end ☺️🙏🏻
