Tania Dibbs is a contemporary abstract painter based in Basalt, Colorado, collected by clients in Aspen and throughout the United States. Working from her studio and gallery in the Roaring Fork Valley near Aspen, she creates large-scale paintings and sculptural works that explore the intersection of the natural world, humanity, and culture.
Tania’s paintings often incorporate screens, overlays, and layered surfaces that both reveal and obscure the landscape beneath. In series such as Anthropocene, these visual interventions reflect the tension between the beauty of nature and the complex, often contradictory systems humans construct around it.
Dibbs’s work spans a wide range of styles, unified by a commitment to experimentation and material exploration. Her sculptural pieces juxtapose symbols of wealth and culture with their opposites, examining our rapidly changing relationship with the planet and the systems that shape contemporary life.
Tania’s work is held in private collections in the United States, Europe, and Australia, including those of Perry Farrell and Etty Lau Farrell, Jackie Bezos and Mike Bezos, Portia de Rossi, and John Hickenlooper and others. Her pieces have also been placed in leading hotels, including Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton, and Ga***rd National Resort & Convention Center.
