Peter Schwartz keeps it simple.
If you’re walking away from your team over politics, you were never really in it.
Wins, losses, tough seasons… that’s part of being a fan.

Real fans don’t bail when things get uncomfortable. They stick with their team no matter what.
Sports are an escape. Not something to turn into another battleground.

With the New York Islanders just points away from a playoff spot, the decision to move on from Patrick Roy this late in the season came as a surprise.

After a strong year fueled by the impact of Matthew Schaefer, a late losing streak shifted everything.
Now, the focus turns to the final stretch and whether they can still find a way in.

The Islanders have shown a lot of resilience this season and they’re still right in the mix.

NHL.com’s Brian Compton highlighted the impact of Matthew Schaefer, not just on the ice, but off it as well.
Now it comes down to the details… clean things up in their own end, protect leads, and take care of business.
It starts with teams like Philly. From here on out, every game matters.

St. John’s vs. Duke isn’t as lopsided as it might look on paper.

Sam Blum of The Athletic joined Peter Schwartz to break it down, and the formula is simple — defense, tempo, and ex*****on.

Duke can score with anyone, but St. John’s has the kind of defense that can change a game. Force tough shots, control the pace, and knock down threes… and this becomes very real.

They’ll need a strong night from Zuby and contributions across the board, but this isn’t a David vs. Goliath situation.

St. John’s can win this game.

And with a strong fan presence expected in DC, don’t be surprised if it feels like a home crowd.
