Free, open use, to all! WHERE: LeRoy sports complex just north of Pine River Area Elementary School. Along the north edge of the tennis courts in the baseball field parking lot. WHY: To provide free recreational ice skating and hockey opportunities for Pine River area youth and families. WHO: Village of LeRoy and local volunteers

Update Tuesday February 24: the rink 85% free of snow and smooth-ish. Definitely skateable. The snow along the edges is covering shell ice/slush. Please stay off that area.

Update Saturday February 14: we had a good morning skate but the sun and warms temps have made the ice soft. The rink will likely be closed for several days until we get consistent temperatures below freezing again.

Update Wednesday, February 11: Today and Thursday are your best opportunities to skate. Starting Friday we will very likely be posting the rink closed as we see temperatures in the upper 30s + for the next week.

Update: Wednesday, January 28. The rink has been shoveled and the parking lot plowed. Get out there and skate!

Update Friday January 9… the rink is CLOSED. Record high temps and rain have left us an iceberg floating on water. Let’s see how it goes in the next day or two as temperatures dropped, and it starts to snow.

Update: Monday, January 5… the rink is OPEN!
75% of the ice is solid and smooth. The other 25% is solid and rough. We will keep an eye on the warming temperatures this week.
