Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

We’d like to thank everyone who braved the heat and came out last night. It was an amazing crowd!

A special thank you to our sponsors and staff who helped make it all possible. We also appreciate everyone’s patience while leaving. We know it took a while to file out of the parking lots, but the officers directing traffic at the ends of the roads did a great job handling such a large number of people.

The food was great, the freestyle stunt show amazing, the antique tractor pull was fun to watch, the watermelon eating contest a huge hit and the fireworks were spectacular!

We’ll definitely follow up with some additional pictures, and we’d love it if you’d share any photos you took in the comments.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again in 2027!

Know Before You Go – St. Mary’s Freedom Fest

✅ FREE admission & parking
✅ Gates open at 5:00 PM
✅ All-American Freestyle Stunt Show: 6:30 PM & 8:30 PM
✅ Fireworks: 9:20 PM
✅ Come hydrated and continue to drink plenty of water throughout the evening
✅ Cooling stations and an air-conditioned building are available if you need to cool down
✅ Outside food and drinks are welcome, but no coolers (lunchbox-size bags only)
✅ This is a drug and alcohol-free event
✅ No sparklers or personal fireworks
✅ Chairs and blankets are encouraged
✅ No pets, please. This is not a pet-friendly event. Service animals are welcome.
✅ ATMs are available on-site for food and craft purchases
✅ If you park at the schools, please cross Route 5 only at the Leonardtown High School crosswalk
✅ Carpool if possible, parking may be limited
✅ Follow directions from parking attendants and event staff
✅ Please help keep the fairgrounds clean by using the trash and recycling containers.

💧 Stay Hydrated & Stay Cool at St. Mary’s Freedom Fest!

Tomorrow is shaping up to be a warm one, but we’ve got you covered!

• Bring plenty of water and outside food (no alcohol)
• Small lunchbox-sized coolers are welcome
• Cool-off stations will be located throughout the fairgrounds
• Tolerance Hall will be open as an air-conditioned cooling room

A little preparation goes a long way. Drink plenty of water before you arrive, take breaks when needed, and we’ll see you tomorrow for an incredible celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary! 🇺🇸

🅿️ Parking for St. Mary’s Freedom Fest is FREE!

To help everyone arrive safely and keep traffic moving, here’s what you need to know:

• The front fairgrounds parking lot opens at 4:00 PM.
• The event gates open at 5:00 PM.
• Additional parking is available at the school lots across Route 5.
• If you park at the school, please use the marked crosswalk at the traffic light to safely cross Route 5.
• Please do not cross the highway anywhere except at the crosswalk.
• No alcohol is permitted on the fairgrounds or the school lots.

We appreciate your help in making everyone’s arrival safe and smooth. We’ll see you Friday for a great night celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary!
