We've been seeing FB posts on two local pages about the Whalom Lakefront needing to be cleaned up.

We would like to help or host the effort to bring the Lakefront back to life. Something like this is going to require a lot of man/woman power, tools and logistics and we're more than happy to engage with our partners that have helped in the past with our "Whalom Weekend!" events.

Please let us know what YOU our Whalom Park community thinks about taking on this project and if you think you can help.

Continuing crossing the road... We've been working hard to schedule our "Whalom Weekend!" this year but we've discovered that Doyel Field in Leominster is booked solid for the month of August this season.

Though we are actively looking for another site we may have to look to next season for our event.

We will still attend local events through this season. We will update you here for any future updates.

It is with a heavy heart that we share our loss of one of our co-op's founding board members Katie Whipple over the 4th of July weekend.

Katie was a driving force that guided us through our co-op governence and our organization responsibilities. She will truly be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

Continuing through the cross roads we've taken all your thoughts and ideas from our last post into consideration for a future

Some of you have expressed interest in the Whalom Lake Front, some for Doyel Field and most just want it to come back.

With input from the operators the lakefront would be too challenging for equipment foot traffic and lack of parking. But that doesn't mean we can't do something fun their at another time.

Doyel Field is the better of the two locations with more space for larger equipment, parking and Rt 2 access.

We hear you about having more family to adult ride equipment than past years and we're focusing on that for the future.

As for price there is only so much the co-op can do and have to go with the operator prices. That being said online ticket purchases are cheaper than in person and there will be wristbands on certen days.

If negotiations go as we hope they will with the operator and the city of Leominster we're looking at the second week of August 2026.

Please keep in mind that this is an ongoing negotiation process. Once a finalized agreement we will announce it here.
