Help Needed for the Leominster French-Canadian Festival!

Our friends at Finn’s French Crepes are planning to join us at the festival, but they need assistance getting their food trailer from the Providence/Cranston, Rhode Island area to Leominster and back. Finn’s operates a crepe food trailer based in Cranston, RI.

We’re looking for:

* A truck capable of towing a food trailer
* An experienced driver comfortable towing
* Availability for festival weekend transportation

If you or someone you know can help, please send us a message or comment below and I can give you Sandeep’s phone number to discuss. We’d love to have Finn’s delicious sweet and savory French crepes at the festival, and your assistance could help make that happen!

Merci beaucoup for supporting French-Canadian culture and community! 🇫🇷🍁

The Fitchburg Historical Society will be joining us at our French-Canadian Festival on June 27 — and we couldn’t be more excited to have them help celebrate the rich Franco-American history of Cleghorn and Fitchburg. ❤️

Did your mémère or pépère grow up in Cleghorn?
Did your family attend Saint Joseph’s or another French church there, work in the mills, walk those neighborhoods, or grow up speaking French at home?

Then you’ll definitely want to stop by their display. They’ll be bringing pieces of Fitchburg and Cleghorn history to share — photos, stories, memories, and reminders of a time when Franco-American culture was woven into everyday life in the neighborhood. 🇨🇦

So many local families have roots in Cleghorn, and those connections still matter today. Let’s celebrate them together with music, food, history, and community. 🎻🥧💙

Because Cleghorn isn’t just a place on a map — for many families, it’s part of who we are.

Join us June 27 from 3-8 at the Eagles in Leominster for a day filled with:

🎻 Toe-tapping live music and fiddling
🍟 French-Canadian foods, maple treats & raclette
🛍 Crafts and local vendors
📚 Authors and Franco-American history
📸 Historic displays and artifacts from our region’s French roots
😂 Stories, laughter, and at least one person saying “back in the day on French Hill…”

Whether your family came from Québec, Acadia, or you simply appreciate good food, music, and community — this festival is for you.

Come hungry. Leave happy. Possibly leave speaking French accidentally. 🍁

We are excited to announce that representatives from the Leominster Historical Society and the Leominster Historical Commission will be joining us at the Leominster French-Canadian Festival! 🍁

Bringing local flavor to the fair, they will be sharing displays, photographs, artifacts, and stories highlighting the rich French-Canadian and Franco-American history of Leominster — including French Hill and the families who helped shape our city through generations.

Be sure to stop by their table inside the Eagles. If you enjoy local history, family roots, vintage photographs, church and mill history, or discovering the traditions and culture woven into Leominster’s past, this is something you will not want to miss.

You may even recognize familiar family names, neighborhoods, or pieces of Leominster history you never knew existed.
