We have secured the Eagles as our venue and have Josée Vachon saving the date for us.

Plans are already beginning for next year’s French-Canadian Heritage Festival in Leominster, and we’d love your help in making it another wonderful celebration of heritage, music, food, and community!

Which performers, musicians, dancers, or entertainers from past festivals would you most love to see return? And what other favorites should we bring back — traditional foods, craft vendors, cultural exhibits, authors, children’s activities, historical displays, workshops, contests, or other special touches?

Our Ancestry Maps came to life! ❤️🤍💙

One of the highlights of the French Canadian Festival was watching our ancestry maps fill with colorful pins as families marked where their ancestors came from.

By the end of the day, a fascinating pattern had emerged. The greatest concentration of pins clustered along the St. Lawrence River in Québec, reflecting the historic heartland of French Canada. On our Atlantic Provinces map, New Brunswick stood out with the highest number of pins, followed by Nova Scotia, beautifully illustrating the strong Acadian roots shared by so many attendees.

From Québec to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, every pin represented a family’s story and the journey that eventually brought many of us to New England.

What began as blank maps became a living portrait of our shared history. Even more special were the conversations they inspired as people discovered relatives, hometowns, and connections they never knew they shared.

Thank you to everyone who added a pin and helped create this beautiful display of our French-Canadian and Acadian heritage. Thank you to Ray Tremblay for the display and to Karrie Bennett for assisting attendees with instructions. Every pin told a story—and together they told ours. ❤️⚜️
