We’re incredibly excited to announce that the Knoxville Jr. Ice Bears Learn to Skate program is FREE for Winter Session 1!

🏒 Welcome Coach Zach to the Knoxville Jr. Ice Bears! 🐻

We're excited to officially welcome Zach Main to the Knoxville Jr. Ice Bears coaching staff for the 2026–27 season!

A native of Welland, Ontario, Zach developed through the AAA hockey ranks before being selected by the Barrie Colts in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Draft. He continued his career at Culver Military Academy, followed by time in both the NAHL and CCHL. Zach later attended Brock University while playing for the St. Catharines Falcons of the GOJHL, where he finished second in league scoring.

Zach brings an outstanding hockey background, a passion for teaching, and an energy for developing young players. This season, he will work closely with our Bears Selects and 8U programs, serving as an invaluable asset to our coaching staff and helping our players build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a love for the game.

Please join us in giving Zach a warm Knoxville Jr. Ice Bears welcome! We can't wait to see the impact he'll make on our players and our program this season.

Our annual facility maintenance will be completed by Wednesday evening, and we're excited to get everyone back on the ice!

🏆 Summer League Champions – Team Ryan! 🏆

Congratulations to Team Ryan on capturing the Smoky Mountain Adult Hockey Summer League Championship! After an incredibly competitive season, they earned the title and finished the job.

A huge thank you to everyone who played this summer. More than half of our games were decided by one goal or a shootout, which made for one of the most competitive seasons we've had.

Now it's time to turn our attention to the Winter League, which gets underway the week of August 11th. If you haven't registered yet, today is the final day!

To continue improving the experience for our families, all Pro Vision Hockey Academy drop-in opportunities will now be registered exclusively through the Mindbody App.

This includes:

🏒 Skill Skates
🏒 Small Group Sessions
🏒 Clinics
🏒 All other drop-in academy opportunities

After testing both platforms, we've found that the Mindbody App provides a much smoother experience with easier registration, better communication, automatic reminders, and fewer missed sessions. Our goal is to make getting on the ice as simple and convenient as possible.
