Something a little different just landed at BCR Music & Sound 👀

This Schecter Orleans Stage 7 blends vintage-inspired acoustic styling with the expanded range of a 7-string platform — perfect for players looking to explore deeper voicings, modern fingerstyle arrangements, ambient textures, or extended-range songwriting without jumping into a full jumbo-sized instrument.

The satin black finish, abalone rosette, maple center stripe, and understated gothic-inspired appointments give this one a seriously classy look without being over-the-top. Plugged in, the onboard Fishman electronics make it stage and studio ready right out of the gate.

Whether you’re layering cinematic textures, playing modern progressive material, or just want a unique acoustic that stands apart from the crowd… this one definitely checks the box.

Available now at BCR Music & Sound 🎸

Not that anyone asked… but this is one of my favorites.

Maxon SD-9 Sonic Distortion from the personal stash. I’ve got a few modded ones ( ), so I figured I’d let this bone-stock example do its thing—and honestly, it still rips.

If you’re coming from a Tube Screamer world, this is a different animal:

👉 Less mid hump – where a TS pushes that tight, nasal midrange, the SD-9 is more open and flatter across the EQ
👉 More gain on tap – this thing gets into real distortion territory, not just “overdrive”
👉 Bigger low end + sharper top – retains more bass and has a more aggressive high-end bite
👉 More raw, less polite – TS = smooth, compressed, polite push… SD-9 = punchy, gritty, and a little unruly (in a good way)

It’s one of those pedals that just feels right under your fingers—especially if you want something that doesn’t immediately sound like every Tube Screamer ever made.

Sometimes stock is exactly how it should be.

EDIT: SOLD!!!

MID-1970’s Ampeg Sub Blaster – the real deal.

If you know… you know.

This is one of those deep cut vintage effects that never went mainstream — but delivers some of the wildest, nastiest sub-octave fuzz tones of the era. Think glitchy tracking, synth-like breakup, and low-end that feels like it’s coming from another dimension.

Not a polite octave. Not a modern clone.
This thing is raw, weird, and 100% vintage analog attitude.

✔️ All-original
✔️ Fully functional
✔️ Mid-70’s USA build

These don’t come around often — and when they do, they don’t last.

Dripping in vibe 🌊

This clip leans ALL the way into it — the Supro Black Magick Reverb 1696RT absolutely cranked and soaked, reverb cranked into that cavernous, splashy territory… volume dimed, paired with the shimmering Danelectro DC-3 Aqua Sparkle on the bridge pickup with the volume rolled back just enough to let the amp bloom.

It’s jangly. It’s surfy. It’s a little lo-fi.
And yeah… just slightly out of tune - and yah, we left it. That haunting, warbly edge is where the magic lives. This can be intentional or by complete accident 🤘

This is the kind of tone that feels like an old tape machine playing quietly in a beach house at midnight.

BTW: 🎥 Both of these are available now in-store and online— tap the product tags in the video to check them out or grab them before they disappear.
