We just realized we forgot to put our Olaf! Despite the fact he’s a snowman, he’s not going outside today. We can’t find the plugs under the snow. So good thing he likes warm summers. He can sit in the front window until Mama elf says it’s time to put up the tree.

And yes, the Turkey is inside too. He suffered a thru and thru impairment on a piece of rebar earlier this week. He’s gotten about 300 stitches and some seam sealer and he should be all healed for next year.

Thanks to Papa Elf, Mama Elf, Uncle Elf and the three Little Elves, we were able to get the majority of the show up and running today. Stop by and get your Christmas spirit going. With tomorrow's predicted snowfall, we really wanted to get it done today. We are running the same schedule as usual. 5-10pm every night. 11 on Friday and Saturday.

Unfortunately, we're running a little behind this year. Life has thrown us some curveballs this week and we haven't been able to spend the time needed to get the show set up. We still plan on getting it done, but it probably won't be running this weekend. Thanks everyone for your patience.

We're up and running for 2024. The below freezing temps today kept us from getting everything set up, but the bulk of it is up and running.

We're looking for elves to help us get some decorations up tomorrow. There's still a few trees to be fluffed and a big tree to put up. If you're interested in dropping by, let us know.

We have snow! What a great gift for our last night of the light show. The show always looks so much better with a fresh coat of snow on the ground. Come on out and check it out for yourself. Our snowmen might be keeping warm by the fire, but you can stay warm in the comfort of your own car.

This is the last weekend of the year for the Chuchla Family Lights. The show will run Friday and Saturday evening. So, come on out and make another visit before we start packing it up and storing it away until next year.

We got the new lights up on the rooftop last Sunday. I'm glad we did get it done. It really makes things pop. Next season we'll be updating the windows and doors to match the newer denser look. What other things would you like to see us add to the display?
