Slope is one of the biggest factors buyers tend to underestimate. The way a lot rises or falls affects your foundation type, drainage, driveway approach, and even which floor plans will actually sit well on the property. A lot that looks perfect at first glance may need extra grading, fill, or design adjustments once you account for how the land moves.
