I am so grateful for everyone who came to visit my Origins show's opening reception, and gallery talk! I could not have accomplished this project without a ton of support.

Thank you United Arts Central Florida and Cameron Robinson for granting me this opportunity
Thank you Leesburg Center for the Arts and Director Richard Colvin for the support along the way
And my husband Mike Molina for managing the rest of our lives and serving me tea so I could dedicate my time creating this work
Thank you Lake Montossori for bringing your students on a tour to visit the gallery and study my work.

Thank you Jackii Molsick, Terry Nickerl, Yvonne Feavearyear, and my mom Jennifer Simpson for helping me prepare and serve all the food and drinks.

The love and kindness has been overwhelming.

Thank you Patricia for this lovely article featured in the September/October issue of the Artistry magazine. And a big hug to Jackii Molsick for taking this photo of me in the studio, and Richard Colvin for capturing the moment in the gallery. This is what friends are for.

Making art has always made me feel most like myself, so I knew from a young age that it was what I wanted to do. I pursued formal training in the arts and received my Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Lakewood, Colorado, but the real learning began when I found the practice of earth pigments..."

It was very atmospheric in the studio as I can a lovely group mixing up their own glaze recipes using earth pigments. Even the plastic cups sparkled in the late afternoon light.

I hope you enjoy the results from this workshop as much as I do! Thank you to my wonderful students, the Leesburg Arts Center for hosting this workshop, and United Arts of Central Florida for granting me this opportunity to share the many ways to use pigments in art!
