We are sold out of straw for this year, there is some hay left in the self serve shed but when that is gone that will be it until we hit first cutting hopefully sometime in may. Thanks for the overwhelming support with the hay and straw sales this year! You guys purchased way more than we could of ever dreamed out of the self serve sheds this year.

We are sorry that the sheds went empty today, plans were to refill this evening but our cattle “adjusted our schedule” we will have them full tomorrow by 11:00 AM

We had a new arrival last evening! So we bought a belted Galloway as a 400-500 lb calf to feed out and sell for freezer beef, and the girls talked me into keeping her and breeding her, so we decided we would but only on one condition, I wanted to breed her to a highland bull just for kicks. That’s what we did and here is her hefier calf born about 9:00 pm last night. The girls have come up with a couple names but are still open to suggestions. Any ideas?

As the season winds down and we wrap up another fall on the farm, we want to make sure nothing goes to waste
We’ve got a handful of pumpkins still at the farm, and rather than see them go to waste, we’d love for them to find good homes.

If you or someone you know could use a few pumpkins — for decorating, baking, animal feed or just to bring a smile to a little one’s face — please stop by the farm and take what you need. No cost! Just a small way for us to give back and share the blessings this season has brought us.

The corn pit is still open but the barn will stay shut to keep the cold air off the animals. Please be respectful and shut the door as you enter and exit the barn.
