WELL… WE DEFINITELY DIDN’T LET A LITTLE RAIN RUIN THE FESTIVAL!

And by “a little rain,” we mean WE GOT ABSOLUTELY DRENCHED.

But just like the festival itself, the Leesburg Festival Committee apparently operates on the philosophy of “come heck or high water.” And yesterday, we got the high water.

We hope you enjoyed this year’s festival as much as we enjoyed putting it together — even if Mother Nature decided to personally water the entire committee!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out, supported our vendors, enjoyed the music, played the games, ran the Glow Run, watched the parade, and helped make this festival happen.

And if you looked at this picture and thought, “Those people look like they need help…”
YOU’RE RIGHT.

Seriously though, if you’d like to join the committee, volunteer, or help us make next year’s festival even bigger and better, we would LOVE to have you!

Come join us. We promise… we only occasionally work in the rain.

It's almost parade time! 5:30 it steps off from the church of Christ down eastern Avenue past the festival grounds (where the CANDY ZONE is). Then through downtown and back to the festival grounds for Jeepin' in the 'Burg!

Come see our princes and princesses in the parade and get a picture with them afterward!

Registration for entries is at 4:30 pm. Winners and auction are at 6:30.

Inflatables are up and going! They are still wet so if you plan to bring kiddos to jump just be aware they will get wet!

MOTHER NATURE, WE’VE GOT A MESSAGE FOR YOU…

We’re NOT gonna let Mother Nature ruin our festival!

The Leesburg Festival is ON — come rain or shine!

The food trucks will be set up and OPEN at 5 PM 🍔🌭, the bounce houses will be up and running between showers and the game trailers will be ready to roll!

The DJ will be ready to spin some tunes and the Glow Run will still take off at 9 PM!

So grab your umbrella , your rain boots, and your best “I’m not letting a little rain stop me” attitude and COME ON!

Because apparently Mother Nature didn’t get the memo…

THE FESTIVAL IS HAPPENING!

Rain? We’ll deal with it.
Sunshine? Even better!
Festival? ABSOLUTELY.
