Somehow, in the blink of an eye, Spencer Beck Art is turning six (?!?!?!) tomorrow. On April 24, 2020, I created this account & shared my art for the first time. Within a few weeks, I had multiple sales (endless gratitude to for being my first-ever collector 🍾) & now, six years later, these little doodles continue to live all over the world, in the homes, private collections, & businesses of incredible people. I started making apparel (a new “birthday” hat is coming tomorrow 👀🍸), I’ve done sold-out collections of ceramic holiday ornaments, people have trusted me to make special commissions & gifts, & even though I’m horrible at posting on this account, my art continues to receive love & support, which blows my mind.
These three pieces are three of the first I ever made, back in early-April of the pandemic, when my husband was working treacherous hours & I was home alone with our dog. These silly abstract ladies with floating bo***es kept me company. I’m so grateful for everything they continue to do for me, & to everyone who lets *this* be the “work” that I do. 🖤
