TOMORROW! SOUND THE ALARMS! THE 39 STEPS OPENS TOMORROW!🕵️‍♂️

Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy SPY novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre! This TWO-time Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning treat is packed with nonstop laughs, over 150 zany characters (played by a ridiculously talented cast of four), an onstage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers, and some good old-fashioned ROMANCE! A man with a boring life meets a woman with a thick accent who says she’s a spy. When he takes her home, she is murdered. Soon, a mysterious organization called “The 39 Steps” is hot on the man’s trail in a nationwide manhunt that climaxes in a DEATH-DEFYING FINALE! A riotous blend of virtuoso performances and wildly inventive stagecraft, The 39 Steps amounts to an unforgettable evening of pure pleasure!

Lee’s Summit West High School’s IB Theatre class is proud to present the comedy The 39 Steps by Patrick Barlow to close our 2025-2026 season. Performance are on Wednesday, June 3rd and Thursday June 4th at 7:00 PM in the LSWHS Performing Arts Center.

HEY WSS! The time has come, it’s our final event of the year! If you received a letter at this year’s Theatre Awards or have lettered since then, you are invited to our LETTERING EVENT AT SKY ZONE!!!
This event will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 5:00

We have a room for our party/stuff and 5 pizzas to eat with unlimited Coke, Sprite, and Pibb Extra to drink.

We should arrive at 3:45 to check in so that we get our full 4:00 to 5:00 time.

If you lettered and are planning to attend, please comment on the recent sports you post!!!
