I had fun making these spider web portraits from real spider webs in the yard. Here is how you do it.
1) Find a real spider web you want to capture
2) Take a black canvas from the craft store
3) if Spider in the web shew it away
4) Spray a coat of white paint on the spider web, Spray lightly until the web is heavy with paint, If you go light you can see in one picture a light version on small canvas
5) Spray your black canvas with a heavy duty spray Glue
6) Push your sticky canvas against the Spider web you painted from the back side if you can
7) The rest of the web should fall away, Do Not fix it, Do not pull off extra web, just let it sit once captured and dry -- IMPORTANT
8) Once dry clear coat VERY heavy with a clear Matte spray until soaked and laying flat. The web is extremely fragile and libel to fall off and disintegrate despite the paint and glue.
9) Once clear coat is dry it should be tough. if you touch it and it comes off you did not add enough clear coat.
10) I had to try repeatedly and start over a few times to get it right.
