Usually Opens Memorial Day Weekend and Follows the School Year so Closes the Sunday before School Starts. For more info, contact (205) 699-0910. The Splash Pad officially closed for the 2022 season on Sunday August 7, 2022 at 6:00PM and will reopen on Memorial Day, Monday May 29, 2023.

The Leeds Splash Pad will officially close for the summer on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 6:00 PM. 🌞💦

It’s been an amazing season of splashes and smiles! 🏖 If you haven’t had your last day of fun yet, make plans to come out before we close.

Leeds Splash Pad Officially Opens for 2025 Season
The City of Leeds celebrated the official grand opening of the Leeds Splash Pad for the 2025 season on Saturday, May 24. Mayor David Miller, alongside the Splash Pad staff, kicked off the festivities and welcomed residents to enjoy this much-anticipated summertime destination.

Located at 804 Park Drive, the Splash Pad was renovated over the summer with all new water features. This is a free, fun-filled outdoor attraction open exclusively to residents of the City of Leeds. With colorful water features and a safe play environment, it’s the perfect spot to beat the heat all summer long.

The Splash Pad will open for public use beginning:
Sunday, May 25 at 1:00 PM
Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day) at 10:00 AM

Regular operating hours (weather permitting) are:
Tuesday through Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Sunday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Closed on Mondays for maintenance, except on Memorial Day.

As a reminder, admission is free, but access is limited to Leeds residents only. To ensure entry, please bring proof of residency:
- A driver’s license with a Leeds address, or
- A driver’s license AND a current utility bill (Water Works, Power, Spire, etc.) showing the same name and a Leeds address.
- Babysitters accompanying children who live in Leeds must bring:
- A copy of the parent’s driver’s license, and
- A matching utility bill showing a Leeds address.

Also, children who are not potty trained must wear swim diapers to help maintain water quality and safety for all.

Leeds Splash Pad 2025 Grand Opening:
Splash pad (weather permitting), will open at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 24, 2025, Sunday, May 25 at 1:00 PM, and Monday, May 26 at 10:00 AM. (Memorial Day is the only Monday that it is open, because we do maintenance on Mondays.) We close every day (weather permitting) at 6:00 PM. Regular hours: Open Tuesday thru Saturday, 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM, and Sunday, 1:00P M until 6:00 PM.

Splash Pad is completely renovated with new water features and is located at 804 Park Drive. As always, admission is free and open only to residents who live in the City of Leeds. News Flash! Leeds Splash Pad is officially closed for the 2024 season on Sunday, July 28 due to major equipment failure. The major renovations planned will bring you a new and improved Splash Pad in May 2025.

We apologize for having to close a week early, but it was beyond our control. We are excited about the renovations that we will be doing over the winter months and the ability to bring you a new and improved splash pad in the spring!
