I was super excited to have Liz Voight in for an interview. It's exciting to see someone from Lebanon chasing after big dreams, facing setbacks and pushing forward. She's proof that you're only limited by your own imagination and determination.

Elizabeth grew up in Fredericksburg. She participated in the Lebanon Area Fair, became the first Lebanon Fair Queen to win the PA Fair Queen title. She went on to graduate from Penn State University. She competed twice for the Miss Pennsylvania competition and was the first runner-up in 2023 & 2024! She's currently working as a teacher in the Cornwall-Lebanon School District, modeling, teaching basketball for Advanced Hoops, Inc. and preparing to chase after her Miss Pennsylvania and Miss USA dream this year.

Many of us are quick to say "no" but William Johnson at Iron Nature - Metalwork for His Glory! was set on a whole new path just because he said "yes". Dan Buerk is a board member of SAMBA (Susquehanna Area Mountain Bike Association). You might have heard of them in conjunction with the pump track at Coleman's Park (Friends of Coleman Memorial Park). They are also doing a lot of other great things in the community as well. Joshua Simpson is the Lead Pastor at Living Waters Chapel which is an Assemblies of God USA church. He is a graduate of the UVF - University of Valley Forge. His family moved here from Charleston, South Carolina to take that position. He stopped in to introduce himself and give a little bit of his philosophy on the many churches in Downtown Lebanon and their place in the community. Ok, this is a long one but it's worth it. Sean Drasher is the Director of Elections & Voter Registration here in Downtown Lebanon. We got to chatting and I was asking him all my weird election questions and realized I need to interview him so everyone can hear the answers to many of my weird questions. Sean's enthusiasm for his job and our election integrity is inspiring.
