🚨 SCAM ALERT — PLEASE VERIFY BEFORE YOU CLICK, PAY, OR RESPOND! 🍎
Unfortunately, the scammers and spammers are at it again.
As Country Applefest gets closer, you may see posts, comments, private messages, or accounts claiming to represent the festival, offer vendor spaces, collect payments, or provide information on our behalf.
Please verify the source before responding or sending ANY money or personal information.
⚠️ All official Applefest communications will come directly from Country Applefest. If an individual person or another page reaches out to you, responds to your comment, or claims to represent Applefest, IT IS NOT US.
💰 Country Applefest will NEVER ask you to send payment through Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal Friends & Family, gift cards, or any other person-to-person payment service. If someone claiming to represent Applefest asks you to pay this way, that is a dead giveaway that you are dealing with a scammer. Do not send them money.
🍎 Check that posts and messages are coming from the official Country Applefest page.
🍎 Be especially cautious of individuals commenting that they can “help” you get a vendor space or asking you to message them privately.
🍎 Never send payment just because someone claims they are associated with Country Applefest.
🍎 If something feels suspicious, contact us directly before doing anything.
Scammers often copy names, logos, photos, and information from legitimate pages to make themselves look convincing. A familiar logo does not necessarily mean the account is legitimate.
We hate that we have to keep saying this, but we would much rather have you double-check with us than lose money to a scammer.
