🎨 DID YOU KNOW? The Manor Inn was created by an artist in more ways than one!

When you walk through the Manor Inn, you’re not just walking through a 1903 historic home — you’re surrounded by the work and creativity of a remarkably talented man.

William Lenz was a photographer, artist and metalworker who, along with his wife, Ethel, opened their home to Route 66 travelers in 1932.

📸 William was also an early photographer of Bennett Spring and the Ozarks, capturing the area through his camera.

🎨 But his creativity didn’t stop behind the lens.

The Lenz Tourist Home featured murals depicting the Ozarks countryside, custom-designed light fixtures and handcrafted furnishings. His artistic touch helped make the home a memorable destination for travelers along the Mother Road.

And some of that artistry is still part of the Manor today.

More than 120 years after this home was built, guests can still walk through these rooms and experience the beauty, craftsmanship and character that have been preserved through generations.

The walls really do have stories to tell. ❤️

One year ago, we opened the doors of the Manor Inn on Route 66… and what a year it has been! ❤️

From the very first guests walking through our doors to travelers from across the country — and even around the world — we have been incredibly blessed by every person who has stopped to stay, visit, celebrate, share a meal, or simply become part of the Manor’s story.

We’ve watched rooms transform, welcomed new friends, served countless breakfasts, celebrated special occasions, shared Route 66 stories, and made memories we never could have imagined when we started this adventure.

And through it all, you have been the best part.

🎄🚗 IT’S OFFICIAL… WE’RE HITTING THE PARADE ROUTE! 🚗🎄

The Manor Inn on Route 66 is excited to be part of the Lebanon Christmas Parade, and we’re getting ready to celebrate Christmas on the Mother Road! 🛣️🎅✨

And let’s just say… we’ve been doing a little decorating. 👀

What will our float look like?
Well… we’re not telling EVERYTHING just yet! 😉

But here’s your first clue:
