William Sypert Station - Est'd 1831

William Sypert Station - Est'd 1831 Historic Restored 1830's Tennessee Bed & Breakfast (near Nashville), your "home away from home"! A big fluffy pillow in an antique house for the weary traveler.

Your comfortable "Home away from Home"! William Sypert Station is a residence built in 1831 by Mr. William Sypert Station himself, so we felt it only fitting to name our house after him. On another note, we love music at William Sypert Station so we periodically host concerts-in-the-home by invitation only. If you are on our mailing list already, aren't you lucky! If you are a friend of the owner

and wish to join our invitation list, please message us to query, for we do fest with our ears some evenings on beautiful live acoustic music in our dining hall!

INFO ABOUT WILLIAM SYPERT STATION:
A carefully restored pre-civil war era home with a long history of Inn Keeping dating back to the 1800's. In January of 1840, an issue of the Lebanon Chronicle (the local newspaper of the day) published a newspaper ad offering up William Sypert's "Lebanon Inn" as a perfect resting place for the weary travelor. These were the days of horse drawn carriages (hence the carriage house still standing in the rear of the home) and the days of travel by rail ... the Nashville Music City Star train still rolls on these very same tracks as it heads dailey to Nashville for a meager $5 dollar ticket, one way. Mr. William Sypert built this brick and stone home which was originally on 36 acres .... most likely the original farm house for the area now known as "downtown Lebanon, Tennessee". We feel fairly certain that famed dignitaries like Andrew Jackson and Sam Houston likely walked these floors ... as Sam Houston's home was located just down the street.

Conveniently located 30 minutes East of Nashville, and 20 mins from the Nashville Airport, Opryland, and President Andrew Jackson's home, "The Hermitage".

Here guests have thier own private sleeping quarters, living room, bath, foyer, dining room & guest porch. With 12' ceilings & fireplaces in each room. We only host (spoil really) one sole guest, as we only have one guest room.

We have welcomed travellers & guests from around the globe since our beginning in 2013, proudly earning top guest ratings. If you google Expedia in search of the "Top 10 Bed and Breafast's in Nashville, Tennessee" ... we will appear in the top ranking.

We can also serve as a unique place for business meetings, bridal showers, or other gatherings.
Williams Sypert Station treats guests like family.
We have many repeat guests!

Yes it's TRUE, we like to bake
Without a recipe we make
Fresh pineapple ... all upside down
With butter, nuts and sugar (brown)
This sinful treat is such a strut
with flour made from coconut ...
We couldn't help it, we ate two!
(Like any southern cook would do)
And yes, organic, that's the trick
Cuz nothing good is ever "quick"

Oklahoma is set to arrive
(Its warm in here ... but cold outside!)
We've fluffed the beds and mopped the floors
(These 2 have stayed with us before)
Oklahoma is where the wind blows
And brings us 2 with hearts of gold!
You say your most valuable crop is wheat?
Well we know better, its the people we meet!

"Who" You ask? Well goodness gratious!
We can't tell you, don't even ask!
We'll post up a pic when the visit's passed
And picking our place was a nice gesture
(an InnKeepers life is such an Adventure!)

Two brothers headed to DC
Stopped and stayed in Tennessee
And only a 90 minute drive away
Brought them to these Mammouth Caves!
Wow! We thought about the earth!
And how Big it is . . . beneath its turf!
This is something, we confess
We love to learn about our guests
Like where they go and what they do
Intriguing us to travel too!

A teacher and his wife, just left our morning door
They'd been to Acme Feed & Seed just the nite before
They asked us where the food was good, and music would be great?
We said "anywhere in Music City could be no real mistake"
But here's a place that people love and prices seem just right
Kentucky stayed at our b&b and picked this restaurant twice!

(Acme Feed & Seed is a Popular restaurant with Live Music down on Nashville's Broadway Strip)
