Hello Musketeers!
I hope everyone is as excited as we are to begin the new year! We have been working hard getting everything ready and we can't wait to see your faces this Monday.
A quick update: We will be hosting auditions on September 16th and 17th from 3-5 PM in the new and improved choir room. Callbacks will be held September 18th at the same time and place. Below, I've provided some character descriptions for your perusal. However, the rest of the information and the sign-up sheet will not be made available until September 8th. We want you focused on getting settled into your new schedules, and I'm sure you all feel the same. So keep an eye out for that information here and on the CCHS Today morning announcements.
We also want to share an important update regarding the program. In previous years, we have used a no-cut model with multiple casts. Moving forward, we will be using a traditional audition process with a single cast.
We made this decision after careful consideration of the needs of the production and the goals of the program. We know this format is different, and we understand that it may be disappointing for some. However, we remain committed to providing a positive and educational experience for everyone who auditions. We appreciate your understanding and support as we make this transition and look forward to creating a wonderful production together.

Character Descriptions (Please keep in mind that these are not the only parts available):
D'Artagnan
A young, ambitious Gascon who dreams of becoming a Musketeer. Brave, impulsive,
romantic, and endlessly determined, he throws himself into danger with youthful
confidence and a strong sense of justice. The story's hero and emotional center.
Sabine
D'Artagnan's spirited younger sister, created for Ludwig's adaptation. Clever, resourceful, and fiercely independent, she disguises herself and pursues adventure despite societal expectations. She is courageous, witty, and often every bit as capable as the Musketeers themselves.
Athos
The eldest and most experienced Musketeer. Reserved, intelligent, and noble, he
carries emotional scars from his past. He serves as a mentor figure, balancing wisdom
and authority with deep loyalty to his friends.
Porthos
A larger-than-life Musketeer who loves fine clothes, good food, and grand gestures.
Charismatic, confident, and often comedic, he is nevertheless brave and devoted when it matters most.
Aramis
The most refined and intellectual of the Musketeers. Charming, eloquent, and
philosophical, he balances a thoughtful nature with impressive skill as a swordsman.
Often serves as the voice of reason within the group.
Cardinal Richelieu
The powerful and calculating chief minister of France. Brilliant, politically savvy, and
manipulative, he seeks to expand his influence and control. A formidable antagonist
who believes his ends justify his means.
Milady
A master manipulator and one of the story's most dangerous villains. Beautiful,
intelligent, and utterly ruthless, she uses charm, deception, and cunning to achieve her
goals. Her complexity and unpredictability make her a compelling role.
King Louis
The young King of France. Well-meaning but often insecure and overshadowed by stronger personalities around him. He desires respect and authority, though he can be naïve and easily influenced.
Queen Anne
The Queen of France. Graceful, compassionate, and dignified, she bears the pressures of court life with poise. Despite her gentleness, she possesses inner strength and considerable courage.
Constance
The Queen's trusted attendant and D'Artagnan's love interest. Intelligent, warmhearted, and brave, she becomes involved in the intrigue surrounding the court. Though kind and romantic, she is far from helpless and shows remarkable resilience.
Treville
The captain of the Musketeers. A distinguished soldier, mentor, and father figure who
cares deeply for his men. Commands respect but can be warm, witty, and occasionally frustrated by the chaos around him.
Rochefort
The Cardinal's loyal agent and chief enforcer. Cold, disciplined, and intimidating, he is an accomplished fighter who relentlessly pursues the Cardinal's objectives. A serious and threatening presence throughout the story.
