As many of you may have already seen, I was involved in a one vehicle accident with my tractor/trailer on Monday during the early evening hours. I’m very grateful and thankful for all the the many people who have prayed and sent kind words or well wishes my way since my accident. I’m very thankful for everyone that was involved both at the scene and those who have helped in any way since the accident. I’m very thankful to be alive and although in quite a bit of physical pain I’m grateful for God’s presence and protection in my life. Things,of course, could’ve been much worse and I’m thankful to have suffered fairly minor injuries all things considered. I would continue to ask for your prayers as things surrounding this accident continue to be sorted out with my employer and all the things that go along with that process and that I will be able to make a full recovery and be able to get back to work soon. I will make every effort to get back to joining the Anchored Quartet again as soon as possible. Our group is still relatively new, but I know that we’re beginning to already develop a “following “ among the many churches and venues that we’ve had the privilege of being a part of. We appreciate all who have reached out and supported us and look forward to getting back on stage on soon as I can. I love you all and I appreciate everything that’s been done and I would also ask for prayers for wisdom as my situation in this matter continues to unfold. Thank you and God bless!

Spent the morning with an eye specialist, without my phone, and came home and crashed. On awakening and checking activity on my phone I had been contacted by our good friend Kenny with New Journey Quartet requesting prayer for his sweet wife Tammy. She fell this morning, possibly due to blacking out and hit her head on the floor! He rushed her to the ER and she has a concussion. They let her go home and she is now resting. She may have to have some testing to determine the cause of her blackout and we're asking for prayer for her, Kenny, and that the doctors will find any problem she may have and determine if treatment is needed. Tammy Ellington is, in my mind, one of His minstrels. Let's take this petition for our God to watch over her, sustain her, and keep her out there singing for Him, and a spirit of peace for her husband Kenny as he is caring and worrying over her health. Time to do your thing prayer warriors!

Asking for prayer for our lead singer, Mathew, and his family at this time. His older sister Mary has been ill for a while and has taken a turn for the worse with a fast decline of her health. Pray for this family as they are dealing with the possibility of losing a loved one. But we know that if death comes calling, new life in His Kingdom beckons and we’ll be together again, for eternity. Lift up Matt and his family in a prayer for peace and comfort during this time. God’s got this!

If any of you have tried to call me or the group lately you may have been confronted by an A.I. voice asking the nature of your call and probably suggesting you leave a message. I know that this is sometimes aggravating but I was being overwhelmed by solicitors calls and someone told me that my phone had this call screening service and I activated it. If the number calling is in my list of contacts, and there are many, it goes thru. If it does not recognize the number it will ask the nature of the call and suggest you leave a message and I can return your call. Before I instituted this service I was answering my phone constantly to numbers I didn’t know thinking it might be pertaining a church or a pastor that might want us to bring our ministry and share with his congregation. If you have called and experienced my little A.I. assistant please do not become discouraged and just hang up. Just leave me a message and I will return your call, we’ll talk, I’ll add you to my contacts and your next call will go straight through, if I’m available. I probably get between 6-10 calls a day that are solicitations of some sort and this saves me from dealing with them. There have been two come in since I started this post! I just want everyone to know that we are appreciative of your calls and inquiries of our group and will listen to your voicemail and reply! Let’s get together and do some sangin’!

When one chooses to be an advocate, not an adversary!

Insane.

This guy was at fault in a car accident awhile back and the person he ran into was kind to him and invited him to Lakepointe instead of chasing him out.

He came.

Since then, God saved him, started working in his life, his wife started coming, God worked in her life, both of them went though Re:Gen, God saved their marriage, and BOTH WERE BAPTIZED TODAY.

Kite caught in a hurricane of grace….
