WE’RE JUST A LITTLE OVER A WEEK AWAY FROM AUDITIONS!

The excitement is building, and we cannot WAIT to begin this journey with all of you!

📌 Important reminders:

🛠️ Tech Crew Applications are due September 8
🎤 Sign up for an audition time
📝 Complete the online audition form
✍️ ALL cast and crew members must return a signed Code of Conduct
Missing something from your packet? Stop by the Counseling Office!

A few audition tips from us:

Be yourself. Do your best. And if you think you messed up... IT’S OKAY! We are all human, and no one expects perfection. We are proud of you for putting yourself out there, no matter how your audition goes! ❤️

A few things to keep in mind:

We do not let students “pick” their roles—we carefully assign each part to create the best possible show. However, if you are not comfortable with a large or lead role, PLEASE let us know! We will absolutely take that into consideration.

The same goes for Tech Crew—we ask about your interests and will do our very best to accommodate them!

Every role matters. Whether you are on stage or behind the scenes, every single person is a vital piece of the puzzle. Please remember that not getting the role you hoped for doesn't mean your contribution isn't incredibly important. We need EVERY piece to make the magic happen!

This is a BIG commitment!

Please review the rehearsal calendar BEFORE committing. Mandatory rehearsals are exactly that—mandatory.

We absolutely encourage our students to try ALL the things in middle school, but we also need a cast and crew who can be present and committed. Students who regularly arrive late, leave early, or have frequent conflicts may not be considered for larger or lead roles.

This is going to be such a FUN and magical show, and we cannot WAIT to get started!

Believe in yourself, take a deep breath, and GO FOR IT! We are already proud of you!

Cedar Crest Middle School Performing Arts would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Lebanon Rescue Mission for their incredibly generous donation of paint for our theater program this year!

As a completely self-funded program, the generosity of our community and local organizations is truly the backbone of why we are able to continue to grow, create, and thrive.

Every donation makes a difference and helps us provide amazing opportunities for our students—both onstage and behind the scenes!

We are so thankful for your support and cannot wait to put these supplies to good use as we bring another exciting season of theater to life!

🎭✨ REGISTRATION IS OFFICIALLY OPEN! ✨🎭

The magic is BACK! Registration for CCMSPA’s 2027 Summer Theater Camp is LIVE — and if this Summer was any indication, these spots are going to disappear FAST! 👀

🌟 OPEN TO STUDENTS ENTERING GRADES K–CURRENT 6TH GRADE 🌟

📅 July 26–30, 2027
🕔 5:00–8:00 PM each night
💲 $75 per camper — snacks included!

Because of the overwhelming response last year, we are limiting enrollment for 2027 to make sure every camper gets the safe, fun, and enriching theater experience they deserve. ❤️

There will be NO spots held without payment.

Throughout the week, our campers will jump into the wonderful world of theater and explore:

That's right — they'll get to take everything they learn at camp and bring it right onto the CCMSPA stage!

Our Summer Theater Camp directly benefits the 100% self-funded Cedar Crest Middle School Performing Arts Program, helping us continue providing incredible theater opportunities for hundreds of students throughout the school year. ❤️

Even better? This camp is led by our amazing CCMSPA student leaders! 🌟 Our older theater students get the opportunity to step into leadership roles, share their passion for performing arts, mentor younger students, and help create the magic that makes theater so special. It’s a beautiful full-circle experience — our Bigs teaching our Littles! 🥹🎭

We believe theater has the power to open young hearts, build confidence, create friendships, and remind kids just how much they are capable of. We can't wait to welcome a whole new group of little theater-makers into our CCMSPA family!

Super proud of these CCMSPA Falcons from elementary to college who came in tonight to purge and clean the stage and closets. Ready to tackle to 2026-2027 theater season! Also super sad that this was our last official photo with some of our peeps headed to HS and Noah and Brooklyn who leave for college next week!!!

It is with great excitement that we can finally announce our show. Coming this November to Cedar Crest High School Auditorium...

Ken Ludwig's adaptation of
THE THREE MUSKETEERS!

The story, set in 1625, follows young D'artagnan and his sister, Sabine, as they set out for Paris to find their fortunes. Soon after arriving in Paris, they encounter the greatest heroes of the day - Athos, Porthos, and Aramis, the famous musketeers. Together they defend the honor of the King and Queen, and in so doing find themselves in opposition to the most dangerous man in France, Cardinal Richelieu. Even more deadly is the infamous Countess de Winter, known as Milady, who will stop at nothing to exact revenge on D'artagnan and Sabine for their meddlesome behavior.
