Our original members include brothers Matt, Dustin, and Joe Sherman; our new vocalist is Will Abele. While our tetrad’s roots and primary genre will always be metal, our more recent work is heavily inspired and influenced by our vocalist’s hip-hop background. Our goals are simple: put on an unforgettable show, fuel catharsis, and push the envelope. Our group was originally formed in 2008 with Matt
as drummer, Dustin as bassist, and guitarist Joe. We’ve played sets beside bands including but not limited to: Fit For a King, Volumes, White-chapel, Memphis May Fire, For Today, and Festival Appearances with the likes of Slipknot, As I Lay Dying, and Five Finger Death Punch. In 2010 we joined up with vocalist Travis Boxx and released a series of projects including The Faceless Enemy, and A World Apart, and a series of music videos, We opened select dates on Mayhem Festival in 2012, 2013 and Summer Slaughter Festival in 2014 and 2015. We went on to win the regional Sumerian record’s “Headband for the Highway” contest, subsequently showcasing for the label in LA. We’ve joined up with our new vocalist, Will, and the resulting work is something else. Our most recent release, For The Books, exhibits ASC’s hardcore and metalcore strengths with the dirtiest breakdowns, powerful riffs, and expert guitar work, while highlighting our more recent twist of hip-hop with hints of the genre’s more conspicuous rhythm and evocative raps. We guarantee a cathartic, entertaining, on stage party that will make the work week seem like a distant memory, but don’t take our word for it. Join us and see for yourself what ASC has to offer.
