There’s a moment every collector knows. When a painting doesn’t just hang on a wall, it remembers something for you.

This is that painting for me.

A classical urn lies on its side, toppled from its pedestal. By all rights this should be a scene of loss. Of something ancient, broken, left behind.

But look what happened instead.

From its mouth spills a wild burst of yellow. Forsythia, maybe. Or just memory made visible. Uncontained, defiant, and very much alive. The urn gave up its posture, but not its purpose. It still holds something worth keeping.

The walls behind it are washed in quiet reds and soft grays. Sun-faded. Time-worn. You can almost feel the heat of a forgotten courtyard and hear the silence between footsteps. The watercolor is deliberately loose. Pigment bleeds into paper because that’s how memory works. Nothing here is pristine. Nothing needs to be.

The tension in this piece is what makes it live. Control in the ironwork of the pedestal, chaos in the bloom. Technical command of watercolor wet-into-wet, layered with drybrush detail in the terracotta. It’s traditional still life with a contemporary, narrative pulse.

This is the happiest little fountain party I’ve ever seen 🐤💦

Look at these guys. Glittery, sparkly, pink, blue, gold. All lined up like they planned a spa day and got double the water features for free. Rain from above, fountain from below.

I stopped to watch them for way too long in the parking lot today. It’s gray out, but they didn’t get the memo. Just pure, chaotic, colorful joy in the middle of a rainy May afternoon.

Sometimes you need a reminder that you can dance in the rain _and_ the fountain at the same time. These ducks nailed it.

Well, I found the best mood boost in Lebanon today.

Caught these little guys living their absolute best life in the fountain. Rain pouring down, water bubbling up, and not a single duck looked stressed about it. Glitter? Sprinkles? Tiny sunglasses? They showed up ready for the party.

Caught the azaleas at 9 am this morning and honestly, I think I interrupted a quiet party 🤍

I walked outside with my coffee and the whole bush was just... shining. No filter, no editing. Just May sunlight doing what it does best. There’s something about early morning blooms that feels like a secret the day hasn’t told anyone else yet.
