A little truth from behind the scenes of our small business… 🩷

When you book Calm Chaos, you’re not simply booking “activities” or “just decorations” for an event.

You’re investing in preparation, creativity, setup, materials, time, energy, cleanup, and a carefully designed experience created to bring joy, connection, and memorable moments.

There is a difference between being served and expecting servitude.

At Calm Chaos, I genuinely love serving families, children, schools, churches, and communities. Helping create meaningful experiences is the heart behind everything I do.

But service is rooted in mutual respect, communication, and appreciation.

The best events happen when everyone works together with kindness and value for one another.

I’m incredibly grateful for the many people who see, appreciate, and support the heart behind this business.

That kind of support never goes unnoticed. 🩷

As Calm Chaos continues to grow (which I am SO grateful for 🥹🩷), I’ve learned something really important-

There is a BIG difference between being hired to help create an amazing experience and being expected to take on services outside of the original agreement.

When you book Calm Chaos, you’re not just paying for slime, sensory bins, or any other included activity.

You’re investing in:
✨ planning
✨ setup & styling
✨ supplies & materials
✨ creativity
✨ energy
✨ cleanup
✨ Time given to you and yours
✨ Time taken away from me and mine
✨ dedication
✨ years of experience
✨ and a whole lot of heart!

I truly love serving families and creating safe, fun, memorable spaces for people to play, connect, and enjoy their day.

But to continue giving the best experience possible, I’m making some important updates to my policies and pricing moving forward.

Here are a few changes:

🩷 Set-up only and hosted events will now be separate package options
🩷 Additional day-of requests may require additional fees
🩷 Add-ons (balloon arches, sparkle bar, extra activities, etc.) will be clearly listed and priced
🩷 All bookings will include agreed service details in advance

I’m incredibly thankful for the clients who show kindness, respect, communication, and appreciation.

To the ones who see Calm Chaos and appreciate how we help your events and you individually, instead of just treating us like we are “the help”—you truly make this business such a joy. 🫶

Wow… what a day. 🥹🩷

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Calm Chaos Community Pop Up Play Day this past Saturday! 🫶

Seeing so many kids creating slime, getting sparkly, playing, and simply enjoying being kids filled my heart more than I can put into words. 🥺

Watching the excitement over every mix-in, glitter tattoo, sparkle strand, and sensory station reminded me of exactly why I started Calm Chaos — to create spaces where kids can explore, create, and just be kids. 🙌

Thank you for supporting this little dream of mine. Every event teaches me something new, and this one left me feeling incredibly grateful and excited for what’s ahead.

Also, a huge thank you to the Moonlite Drive-In Theatre & Venue and For His Glory Ministries of SWVA for hosting us and the many other vendors. It was very organized, fun, and over all wonderful event that we were blessed to be a part of! ✨

My heart is so full today 🥹🩷

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who welcomed Calm Chaos into your spaces this past week! 🫶🫶

Thank you again to Ignition Point Youth Ministries for allowing us to be a part of your community event, to create such a fun day for local families. Seeing kids laugh, play, explore, and create was such a blessing!

And a special thank you to Lebanon Primary School and their classes that invited Calm Chaos in for a sensory play experience. Having your students engage, explore, and enjoy hands-on sensory play was such a sweet reminder of why I started this journey in the first place 🩷

Every event, every child, every smile, and every opportunity means so much to me 🥹

Thank you to everyone who is supporting this little dream and allowing me to create spaces where kids can play, create, explore, and just be kids ✨
