Good night from camp!
Our day in a nutshell:

In other words, breakfast, rehearsal, snacks, sectionals, lunch, chamber music, rehearsal, games, dinner, trivia night, and now bed time! We had a great first full day, and are ready to recharge before another fun day!

Harriett was an incredible force for change in the NW. Our thoughts are with her family.

Icicle Creek Center for the Arts is deeply saddened by the loss of our founding board member, champion, and dear friend, Harriet Bullitt. She brought to this Valley a beautiful vision, one that tied together her passion for the arts and her love of nature. Harriet sought to ensure that our children, all of them, would have the opportunity to be instilled with those same wonders.

We strive to honor her memory by continuing to faithfully build her dream, providing programs and performances that inspire the children, families and communities of North Central Washington to be life-long learners and patrons of the arts. We commit to continued work to build a sustainable future for this organization she so loved, so that it may always be a place that nurtures the human spirit through a confluence of the breathtaking landscapes that Harriet called home and the performing arts that brought her so much joy.

Meet Adrienne Fletcher!

If you're attending camp and playing in our Symphony ensemble, you will have the pleasure of working with Adrienne! She is an incredible conductor, teacher, and person! Adrienne is so enthusiastic, and her joy for music is contagious.

Adrienne is multi-talented - in addition to her skills as a conductor, she is also a professional harpist, pianist, and vocalist! (She also plays violin but she insists it's not a big deal.)

Adrienne's Bio:
Adrienne Fletcher currently serves as the Music Director of the Mid-Columbia Youth Symphony and the Assistant Conductor of the Mid-Columbia Symphony. Fletcher holds a Master of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting and Vocal Performance/Pedagogy from Central Washington University and a Bachelor of Musical Arts degree in Harp from Pacific Lutheran University.

All of us at Icicle Creek Center for the Arts look forward to the tradition of welcoming back summer to our campus with the sights and sounds of students and music during our first camp of the season, Summer Symphony. We are deeply disappointed to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to wait until 2022 to resume this program.

We are deeply disappointed to inform you that we have no other choice than to cancel this year due to the COVID19 situation sweeping across our planet. We can’t wait for the day that we can fill our campus with the music and laughter of our Summer Symphony campers again.
