With the hot weekend coming up, many people will be drawn to our rivers and lakes looking for reprieve.
Currently the Wenatchee river at Plain is flowing at over 7,000cfs which is 35% above average. The water is exceeding its low banks in places. The water is primarily snow melt at this time in the season and is quite cold.
This is not the time for those inexperienced on rivers. Innertubes and dime store rafts are also not recommended.
As always, for those that have the experience, wear your life jacket, but you know that already.

The air temps listed in the picture below are much lower than what is in the forecast and being felt right now. As you can see, it doesn't take much to burn your dog's paws. If your hand can't stand the heat, neither can their poor little feet!

The announcement of the summer is here...THE POOL OPENING DATE HAS BEEN SET: Monday, June 21st!

Limited activities to start, and more coming soon. The first week (Mon, Jun 21-Fri, Jun 25) will include:

4 pm - 5 pm = Water Exercise
5 pm - 6 pm = Lap Swim (all ages, must swim laps consistently)
6 pm - 7 pm = Lap Swim (18+)
