Dr. Gerhardt Konig once had a successful career in medicine. Now, his future is being decided in the criminal justice system.

The Hawaii doctor was convicted in April 2026 of attempted manslaughter involving extreme mental or emotional disturbance following a violent confrontation with his wife during a hiking trip in March 2025.
