Had a crazy idea to create something with the use of fire and the soot from a flame. An idea to burn or destruct something that wouldn't work well together. Although it being tricky, the final outcome was beautiful to me. Series on the way soon.

Finally finished! For this piece I had to conceptually portray two images dealing with the idea of before and after. I chose to show the first image as a Syrian father and his son before the refugee crisis and the second image with another Syrian family during or after the crisis. Hope y'all enjoy!

It's extremely devastating to see such violent crimes happen to Syrian refugees in Aleppo. To promote awareness, I took these images of Syrian children which I found online, and photoshopped the appearance to show the broken and distorted lives these kids face. My prayers go out to the people of Aleppo and to anyone affected by this violence. Final for my drawing class finally finished thank god. Really happy with the outcome of this piece the time and effort was worth it.
