We are going down the rabbit hole with you. Find the Leander Film Festival booth at Leander ArtFest on Saturday, October 3, from 2 to 6 PM at Lakewood Park. Grab a printed festival schedule, get your pass questions answered, and sign up to volunteer for festival week. Volunteers get screenings, filmmaker access, and a front-row seat to how it all comes together. Free, family friendly, costumes encouraged.

It's not too late to pitch your feature live to real producers!!

Eight finalists get invited to Leander this November to pitch on stage to producers, financiers, and distribution execs actively looking for scripts. $200 stipend for every finalist. $1,000 Gateway Development Award for the winner, plus a 1-on-1 career session and a full studio-grade coverage report.

Completed, unproduced features. All genres.

THIS IS HOW A FILM FESTIVAL BEGINS.
Last night, our Leander Film Festival Community Update Happy Hour brought together filmmakers, local creatives, business owners, community leaders, supporters, and people who simply love film and want to see something exciting grow right here in Leander.
We shared where we are, what we’re building for November, some of the surprises ahead, and most importantly, we listened. We heard ideas, made new connections, met potential partners and volunteers, and had the kind of conversations that are exactly why we wanted to create this festival in the first place.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and spent the evening with us, to everyone who spoke and shared their experience and ideas, and to Leanderthal Distilling for opening its doors to us and being such a wonderful host.
Seeing the room full last night made one thing very clear: people are ready for this.
And we are just getting started.
Next stop: November 11–15, 2026.
Five days of films, filmmakers, industry, community, and experiences we can’t wait to share with you.
