For 50 years, the Leakey Pro Rodeo has been more than just a rodeo; it has been a tradition, a legacy, and a reflection of what makes our community so special.

To every volunteer who gave their time, every contestant who brought their talent, every spectator who filled the stands, and every sponsor who believed in our mission...

THANK YOU.

Because of your support, dedication, and generosity, this milestone event was an incredible success. Your commitment not only helped celebrate a 50-year legacy but also continues to make it possible to Keep a Kid on a Horse for generations to come.

Whether you worked behind the scenes, competed in the arena, cheered from the stands, or invested in our youth through sponsorship, you are part of this rodeo family.

The memories made this year will last a lifetime, and the legacy of the Leakey Pro Rodeo grows stronger because of each and every one of you.

ATTENTION, MUTTON BUSTERS!!
We will have 2 two runs of mutton’s each night.
Each run has max of 15 contestants!!
THAT MEANS 30 KIDS PER NIGHT WILL GET TO RIDE!!
Come see me by the loading chute in front of the concession stand to sign up starting at 6 PM!!

Well y’all… we can officially stop searching.

Gracie has been found in Leakey.

Not at a ranch.
Not in the hills.
Not crossing Hwy 83.

At the Real County Junior Horse Club Arena… trying to sign up for Mutton Bustin’. 🦒

She apparently heard the 50th Annual Leakey Pro Rodeo was coming up and wanted to see what all the hype was about.

Unfortunately, registration was denied after officials confirmed she weighed in at… slightly over 55 lbs.

Mutton Bustin’ registration opens nightly at 6 PM for ages 4–8 with a 55 lb weight limit (sorry, Gracie).

Join us July 3 & 4 for bulls, broncs, barrels, and family fun!

Only in Real County. 🤠
