Shay Bug Cosplay

ShayBug Cosplay, aka Shay Strickland, is from a small town in southern Mississippi. She has been cosplaying and attending cons since she was thirteen years old. With a love for anything theatrical, creative, or just plain odd, you could say that she fits right in at cons. She was a guest for the first time at Anime Getaway Jackson in 2014. Shay, however, has multiple chronic illnesses (Rheumatoid Arthritis, PCOS, etc just to name a few ) and wants to use her cosplay to draw attention to research for her chronic illnesses and advocacy for the disabled. Cosplay is for EVERYONE. She has/currently cosplays Ramona Flowers, Velma Dinkley, Wednesday Addams, Edward Scissorhands, and more.
