There are few moments in ballet more exciting than receiving an invitation to begin pointe 🩰✨
Pointe is not simply a new pair of shoes - it represents dedication, strength, technique, consistency, and commitment
This summer, we are SO proud to celebrate LDC’s first ever group of students to graduate to pointe
Several adult ballet students have progressed to the point (BA DUM) of being invited to begin this journey. Their hard work, determination, and willingness to embrace the challenge of learning something new as adults has been nothing short of inspiring. Congratulations, dancers!
At Leadville Dance Collective, we believe dance should be accessible and welcoming to everyone. While pointe is one of the few invitation-only opportunities we offer, that distinction exists for safety. Dancers must demonstrate the technique, alignment, and readiness needed to begin pointe work safely and successfully. This invitation is not about exclusivity - it is a celebration of hard work, dedication, and growth, and we couldn’t be more proud of these dancers for reaching this milestone
We look forward to inviting more students on this exciting journey in the years to come - both youth and adults🧑🏽🩰
A special thank you to Ashley - our beloved Miss Ashley - whose thoughtful instruction, encouragement, and commitment to quality ballet training has created an environment where dancers can grow, gain confidence, and truly shine. The progress these students have made is a testament not only to their dedication, but also to the supportive and empowering class Ashley cultivates
Please join us in congratulating these dancers on this exciting milestone. Plus, stay tuned for a few more dancers who will be getting their pointe shoes soon 🫶
We can’t wait to see where their ballet journeys take them next 🤍 Dreams never have an expiration date 🩰
