✨ Dancer Spotlight: Rue ✨

We asked Rue what she loves about dance, and her answer was pretty simple: “I just love dancing to music honestly.” Her favorite part of class is practicing the dances for recital, and apparently “froggy naps” are a pretty important part of the experience, too.

Rue’s mom has watched dance bring out a whole new side of her. She’s become more confident, come out of her shell, made new friends, and found another way to express her love of music. Ballet is her favorite, but she’s also enjoyed tap and is excited to learn more about lyrical.

And when we asked Rue what she loves about her teachers, she had this to say about Miss Olivia: “I love that Miss Olivia asks us what we’ve been up to lately before each class starts.” 🥹

Got a little one who is always moving, loves music, and wants to do EVERYTHING themselves?

Combo is designed for ages 3–5, giving little dancers a chance to learn how to follow directions, move with the music, build coordination, and get comfortable in a class setting, all while learning the basics of ballet and tap.
