✨ Tiny hands, BIG learning happening in Mini Monets this week! 🎨✂️🌀

Our little artists explored patterns, repetition, sculpture building, and construction techniques while strengthening those all-important fine motor skills through cutting, folding, bending, gluing, and assembling their own colorful 3D creations.
Projects like these may look playful (because they are 😄), but they’re also helping build hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, creative problem-solving, and confidence, all while letting imaginations run wild.

Watching these kiddos experiment, create, and bring their sculptures to life is always one of my favorite parts of the week. So proud of these tiny artists and their BIG ideas! 💜✨

✨ This week in class, our young artists focused on the beauty of simple, intentional drawing, proving that even the simplest shapes and lines can create something absolutely beautiful. 🌅🎨

Through this project, the kiddos practiced linework, composition, color blending, and understanding the elements of space while learning how to build depth and balance within their artwork.

I love lessons like these because they remind us that art isn’t just about making something pretty… it’s about building patience, confidence, problem-solving skills, and learning how all the little details work together to create something magical. 💜
So proud of the focus, creativity, and effort these young artists brought to the table this week!

✨ WonderLab Wednesday was a total blast with Ms. Katie’s Shrinky D**k Father's Day Keychain Class! ✨

From tiny drawings to magical mini masterpieces, these artists got to watch their creations transform right before their eyes (which, let’s be honest… never stops being cool 😆).

The creativity was flowing, the beads were sparkling, and everyone left with a one-of-a-kind keychain packed with personality and imagination. 💖🔑

We LOVE seeing kiddos (and grown-ups too!) creating art they can actually take everywhere with them. Another wonder-filled day at Skinderella’s Wonderland Art Collective 💫🎨

✨🎨 DRAWING 101 FOR KIDS: More Than Just Making Something Pretty 🌙💫

This week in Drawing 101 for Kids, our young artists dove into one of the most important foundations of visual art… COMPOSITION.
Together, we explored how artists thoughtfully arrange objects within a piece — learning about balance, object placement, visual movement, and how to guide the viewer’s eye around the artwork. 🌸🪐⭐
But what impressed me most wasn’t just the beautiful final pieces… it was watching these girls work through the process.
I watched them show incredible patience, trust their own creative instincts, make thoughtful decisions, work through challenges, and stay unbelievably positive and determined from start to finish. 💜

Art teaches so much more than drawing.

It teaches problem solving.
It teaches perseverance.
It teaches confidence in decision making. It teaches kids how to trust themselves creatively.
And this week, these young artists absolutely blew me away. I couldn’t be more proud. 🥹✨
