Welcome to the birthplace of The Emerald Cup We are an all-faiths Spiritual Sanctuary and Event Center dedicated to Personal Growth & Spiritual Enlightenment.

We host regular healing and wellness gatherings, music performances and counter-culture events. We’re gathering next weekend for Sacred Second Sunday at Area 101. What began as Rachel offering her deeply healing and inspiring sound bath experience soon expanded when her friend Angela joined with her intuitive and powerful tarot readings. Then my dear friend Irwin — truly one of the great percussionists — offered to travel up from San Diego to lead a fusion of sound immersion and ecstatic dance. Irwin has collaborated with Eckhart Tolle and Deepak Chopra, brought Chali 2na of Jurassic 5 fame to Emerald Cup, and worked with the Long Beach All Stars — this will be a set to witness. And throughout it all, our incredible house DJ, DJ SYD, will be laying down the juicy beats, weaving rhythm between the offerings and keeping the energy lifted, grounded, and flowing. To top it off, our dear friend Bam is preparing an authentic organic Indian breakfast with chai — and lunch too.

All of this came together from a shared desire to return Area 101 to its original vision — before cannabis and the Emerald Cup became its dominant expression (though those were and are part of the story). Area 101 remains a spiritual sanctuary and event center for all faiths, devoted to personal growth and spiritual enlightenment.
