We are a non profit 501c3 Performing Arts Company. We have classes for students age 3-18.

Our mission at Discovery Performing Arts is to use our gifts and talents to be a light in our community. We encourage students Ages 6-18 to fine tune their craft of piano,singing,dance and Theatre in a creative,safe and supportive environment. Our Directors and volunteers are committed to give each student the attention they need to grow artistically. We take pride in excellence however the proce

ss of learning,building community and the fun each student has is our biggest goal. We encourage students to use their gifts and talents in their community and offer various opportunities throughout the year for them to showcase their talents.

Congratulations to the cast of Little Women The Musical. This beautiful musical will be coming to the Discovery Studio stage November 20th to the 22nd. Tickets will be available soon.

We cannot wait to share the wonderful story of Little Women with our community!

Theater Thursday is a pretty big deal around here!!

All of this week at Discovery we had a studio full of Dancers,vocalists,musical theater kids and JOY! Our 8th season is off to a fantastic start and we cannot wait to share all we learn with our community later this Fall and Christmas!!

Speaking of Christmas, “Christmas won’t be Christmas without any presents” or YOU auditioning for Little Women the Musical! In person auditions will be August 22nd 4:00-8:00pm. Ages 13-college students welcome to audition.

Over the weekend we had 10 hrs of in person auditions and watched several video auditions. We had two casting teams and three very different shows with 28- 50 students to cast depending on the show! It was a lot of work and brain power! But, we are excited share our three incredibly talented casts with you.

Discovery has a wonderful growing Dance Program led by the lovely Melissa Sharp. Each student is treated with caring, guided instruction and a fun approach to learning. Classes are available for 3 year olds to Adults including daytime and evening classes.

Discovery is excited to announce a small change in our 2026-2027 Season!!

We will be adding the incredibly epic production, HADESTOWN Teen edition in May 2027!

We are so excited to collaborate with local artists for set building and choreography and of course welcome students ages 13-19 to audition in February 2027. More information will be posted as we get closer. We cannot wait to bring this incredible show to the community.
