There is still time to sign up for our Halloween Bash coming up next Saturday, October 24th! The kiddos will get to play games, have dance parties, and have free play time in the gym! (While you get to have a date night or even a night to yourself😉) This is a drop off only camp that begins at 6:00 PM, pick up is at 9:00 PM. Ages 5 & Up. 🎃👻

✨It’s time to meet the staff of LCTD!✨

Meet Jamie!

Jamie has been a tumbling instructor and the owner of LCTD for over 20 years; starting this journey as a 17 year old junior in high school. Jamie truly loves what she does and grew up over the years as she navigated the ins and outs of running a business while also finishing high school, graduating college, and starting a family. Tumbling has been such a meaningful part of her life, and she feels incredibly blessed to have built a career doing something she is so passionate about.

Outside of the gym, her greatest joy is her family. She has been married to her husband, Adam, for 14 years, and together they have two amazing kids, Carin and Lex. Carin is 16 years old and grew up tumbling, cheering, and dancing at LCTD and also other competitive cheer gyms. She competed in cheer for 12 years, so watching her grow and develop through the sport has been such a special part of their journey together. Lex is 12 years old and is their busy little athlete who loves a little bit of everything, including baseball, basketball, and track. He is also an avid reader and a total bookworm.

When they’re not at the gym or running from one sporting event to another, they love spending time together as a family. Jamie and her family are big camping fans and love traveling and exploring different parts of the country. She is so thankful for her family, her gym family, and all the amazing people and memories that have been a part of this journey over the past 20+ years!

✨It’s time to meet the staff of LCTD!✨

Meet Marissa!

Marissa is the dance director and one of the dance teachers at LCTD. Growing up, she was involved in multiple sports including dance, cheer, tumbling, & softball. However, dance has always been a very special part of Marissa’s life.

Marissa has 15+ years of dance experience in a variety of genres, in addition to 3 years of competition dance, and 8 years of cheer. She has now been teaching at LCTD for 10+ years in dance with 8 of those years including competitive dance. Marissa’s favorite thing about teaching is providing a space where kids feel encouraged to learn and grow while maintaining a positive environment for them to have fun. She enjoys picking out/designing/making costumes, working on concepts for routines, & organizing all things recital!

If Marissa is not at the studio, you can find her spending time with her family & three dogs, or working as a nurse in an OBGYN clinic. Being part of the LCTD family has been a huge part of Marissa’s life and she is forever thankful for all the students she has had the opportunity to teach throughout these past 10 years!

✨It’s time to meet the staff of LCTD!✨

Meet Brittni!

Brittni is a dance teacher and this will be her 4th year teaching at LCTD! Brittni began dancing at a young age and continued her passion for dance through high school and college. She has 14+ years of experience in ballet and jazz, and also danced on a college dance team for two of those years. In addition to dance, she also has 8 years of cheerleading and 12 years of tumbling experience.

Outside of the studio, she has been married to her husband, Blake, for 13 years, and they have two beautiful daughters. Brittni loves watching them grow and discover their own love for dance, and she spends much of her free time cheering them on at their various activities and sporting events.

Brittni is grateful for the opportunity to share her love of dance with her students. She loves watching young dancers grow in confidence, develop their skills, and discover their own passion for dance!

✨It’s time to meet the staff of LCTD!✨

Meet Carin!

Carin is 16 years old and she has been tumbling for 15 years. Since her mom (Miss Jamie) owns LCTD, Carin has basically grown up in the gym and it has been a huge part of her life!

Carin participated in competitive cheer for 12 years and has competed at the highest level of cheerleading, including being part of a Worlds team for 3 years. She has had the opportunity to travel all over the country for cheer, compete in many different competitions, and win numerous titles along the way including: One Summit Finals win, one podium finish at the Summit Finals, One Allstar Worlds podium finish, 5 COA wins, 7 Jamfest Nationals wins, 8 US Finals wins, 1 overall across the country US Finals win, and many more. Carin’s biggest accomplishment was competing at The Cheerleading Worlds and making it to finals!

In addition to cheer and tumbling, she also danced for 9 years and competed dance for 2 years. Being involved in so many different sports has taught her a lot about hard work, dedication, teamwork, and pushing through challenges. Carin is excited to pass those lessons on to her athletes.

Right now, Carin is working through a back injury, so you’ll see her doing lots of instructing and computer work, but she won’t be doing any spotting while she recovers. Even though she can’t be as hands-on as she normally would be, she’s still super excited to coach, help athletes reach their goals, and share her love and experience for the sport!

Meet Jaylee!

Jaylee started dancing when she was 3 years old, and she has been a dance teacher since 2022, therefore dance has always been a big part of her life!

Jaylee participated in color guard when she was in middle school and high school, and she was team captain for a few years as well. In addition to dance & color guard, Jaylee is a huge theater nerd, so she has been in a few live musicals with the Arts Council. Every year, she has the opportunity to teach dance to young kids for LCAC's annual Kids Theater Week.

Jaylee lives with her mom, her two younger brothers, and her dog. She’s also very close with her grandparents, her aunt and uncle, and her two little cousins. Jaylee also states, “Teaching here at LCTD has been such a blessing, and I thank God every day for giving me the opportunity to teach these amazing dancers!”

✨It’s time to meet the staff of LCTD!✨

Meet Ailey!

Ailey is a tumbling instructor at LCTD. She is 17 years old, a senior in high school, and she participates in cheer, which she really enjoys! Ailey has been involved in cheer since she was little and has been a high school cheerleader all four years of high school. She also used to be a competition tumbler, which has given her experience with learning and perfecting different skills. Ailey loves being able to help others improve while continuing to do something she is passionate about. Coaching is so rewarding to Ailey because she gets to watch athletes learn new skills, gain confidence, and reach their goals. She always wants her athletes to feel encouraged, supported, and comfortable while they’re learning.

Outside of the gym, Ailey works at Ginger Ale’s and loves spending time with her friends, family, and her boyfriend, Hudson. A fun fact about Ailey is that she is left-handed! She is so excited to get to know everyone and help each athlete become the best they can be!

Meet Emily!

Emily is a competitive/recreational dance teacher and a tumbling assistant at LCTD!

Emily has been dancing for 12 years; 5 years with LCTD and 2 of those years on the competition dance team. She also tumbled with LCTD for multiple years and competed on the competitive tumbling team.

In addition to tumbling & dance, she also competed in high school cheer, making it all the way to IHSA State and placing 7th in the state!

When she’s not at the studio, you’ll find her traveling wherever she can, working at Bobe’s, or spending time with her family, her boyfriend A.J., and their cat, Sniper.

She is so excited to watch the students grow & strive at LCTD!🩷
